Hollow bars
Hollow bars mainly are made as circular but they can be also made in vary shapes. There are many advantages of using hollow bar compare to solid bar not limited to lower price per lengh, lighter weight, lower machining time and lower amount of swarf and many others.
Reduction of machining, boring and turning time is obvious due to wide range of dimeters and wall thickness that hollow bars can be manufactured. Lower costs of tools, lubricants, required power, swarf removing, equipment cleaning and finally labour costs should be also taken into deep consideration.
Material characteristics of the hollow bar can guarantee high resistance to any kind of corrosion, high strengh and high processing factor.
Users considers hollow bars as very effective mean in technical and cost reduction matter (stainless steel hollow bar).
